TOMS RIVER – The Toms River Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual that is allegedly involved in a shooting Tuesday afternoon.
Around 4:05 p.m., police received reports of gunshots heard in the area of Camino Medio. A victim told officers that he was riding his bicycle through the Friendly Village development when he was shot at by a juvenile he apparently knew. Multiple rounds were fired, however none hit the victim and some did hit neighboring houses, police said.
After collecting evidence, authorities identified the juvenile (in white shirt) and complaints were approved and signed for Attempted Murder and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
At this time, investigators need your help to identify the individual in the black shirt and/or the silver vehicle shown in the photo provided by police.
