NEW JERSEY – The $1.13 Billion Mega Millions ticket has remained unclaimed – the jackpot winner has still yet to come forward.
One lucky player was the sole jackpot-winning ticket holder for the March 26, Mega Millions prize of $1.13 billion.
It’s been six months since the drawing and the prize remains unclaimed.
The cash value of the ticket is an estimated $537.5 million, New Jersey Lottery said. The ticket was sold at ShopRite Liquor #781, located at 2200 Route 66 in Neptune Township. The winning numbers for the drawing were: 07, 11, 22, 29 and 38. The Gold Mega Ball number was 04. The Multiplier number was 02.
According to the New Jersey Lottery, winners have one year from the date of the drawing to file a claim before the ticket expires. They’re urging all players to check their tickets. The winner should contact New Jersey Lottery as soon as possible to begin the claim process.
“We recommend the lucky winner seek professional legal and financial advice,” New Jersey Lottery said.
A 2020 New Jersey law allows lottery winners to remain anonymous indefinitely, and the identity of winners will not be included in materials available to public inspection under the State’s Open Public Records Act.
