TRENTON – The new year is only a few weeks old, but there have already been four Jersey Cash 5 jackpot wins.
In the Tuesday, Jan. 14 drawing, a player won the $248,541 jackpot at the Hazlet Exxon, 3328 Route 35 South in the Monmouth County township of Hazlet matched the winner numbers of 02, 09, 14, 20, 33. The Xtra was 02 and the Bullseye was 20.
While the winter hot streak is impressive, it isn’t unusual. In 2024, there were seven Cash 5 jackpot wins in January. For the entire year, 2024 saw 76 total Cash 5 jackpot wins.
This latest win means that there has been at least one jackpot winner in all of New Jersey’s three regions South Jersey (Burlington County), North Jersey (Essex and Hudson counties) and Central (Monmouth County).
