BEACHWOOD – A home and three cars were completely demolished after a fire broke out early Wednesday morning, officials said.
Around 12:30 a.m., Beachwood and Pine Beach Fire Departments responded to a home on Capstan Avenue for an active structure fire. Due to the scale of the blaze, additional units from the Manitou Park, Pinewald Pioneer, and Bayville Fire Departments were dispatched.
The home, as well as three cars parked in the driveway, were engulfed in flames. The fire also tore down power lines across the road, officials said.
Firefighters quickly attacked the rapidly growing fire; however, interior suppression efforts were halted when the second floor collapsed. It took the crew about one hour to control the fire, and were on scene until about 5 a.m.
Officials confirmed no injuries resulted from the fire. A neighboring home did suffer damage from the heat.

During the fire, the Toms River Fire Department Company #2 provided coverage for Beachwood’s area, officials said.
The fire is under investigation by the Ocean County Fire Marshal’s Office and the Beachwood Police Department.
