This investigation was the result of a referral from the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.  The ICAC Task Force received a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an individual was uploading and distributing images of child pornography to the internet across various internet platforms.

An investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad identified a cell phone number associated with a Toms River residence as the location from which an individual was uploading and distributing images of child pornography.  That individual was ultimately identified as Oliveira.  The investigation further revealed that Oliveira often communicated and sent messages to another cell phone number which belonged to Goldstein.  A review of various messages between Oliveira and Goldstein revealed that Goldstein was sending nude photos of juveniles to Oliveira.  It was also learned that Oliveira instructed Goldstein to touch a juvenile in an inappropriate manner and send photos of the inappropriate touching to Oliveira.
