OCEAN COUNTY – Ocean County will be packed with fireworks, concerts, drone shows and patriotic celebrations as communities across the region get ready to mark America’s 250th birthday.
From the beaches and boardwalks to parks, lakes and stadiums, residents and visitors will have plenty of chances to celebrate Independence Day season. All events are weather permitting.
Manchester will hold Manchester Day on June 27 from 2 to 10 p.m. at Harry Wright Lake.
Toms River will mark the 250th celebration June 30, followed by another fireworks event July 7 as part of the summer concert series. The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Shelter Cove, with fireworks after the performance.
Berkeley Township will hold fireworks July 1 following the concert at Veterans Park in Bayville.
Barnegat will kick off its celebration July 2 at Barnegat High School, with festivities beginning at 5 p.m. A rain date is set for July 10.
Brick Township will host fireworks after the Summerfest concert July 2 at Windward Beach Park.
Ocean County Parks will present a patriotic concert and drone show July 2 at 7:30 p.m. at 1198 Bandon Road in Toms River.
Surf City will hold fireworks July 3 from 9 to 10 p.m. at the bay beach off 17th Street.
Lacey Township will celebrate July 3 at Lacey Township High School, with festivities starting at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks at 9:15 p.m. A rain date is scheduled for July 10.
Lakehurst will hold fireworks July 3 at dusk at Lake Horicon.
Lakewood will host fireworks July 3 and July 4 following Jersey Shore BlueClaws games at the stadium.
Jackson will have fireworks July 3 and July 4 at 9:30 p.m. at Six Flags Great Adventure.
Beach Haven will hold fireworks July 4 at 9:30 p.m. at the Taylor Avenue Bayfront, with a rain date of July 5.
Beachwood will host fireworks over the Toms River on July 4 at 9 p.m. from Beachwood Beach, also with a July 5 rain date.
Tuckerton will hold fireworks July 4 at dusk at Lake Pohatcong. The rain date is July 5.
Seaside Heights will hold fireworks July 4 at 9:30 p.m. on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk.
New Egypt’s celebration is set for July 4 and July 5 at Laurita Winery, with festivities beginning at noon. The event will include food trucks and fireworks as part of a “Celebrate America’s 250” program.
Lavallette will hold a fireworks and concert event July 5 at 8 p.m. at the Lavallette Gazebo and Bayfront.
Lakewood will also hold a fireworks and drone light show July 5 at 9 p.m. at Lake Carasaljo.
Point Pleasant Beach will have fireworks July 5 at 9:30 p.m. at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk.
Jackson will host fireworks and food trucks July 11 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Johnson Memorial Park.
Plumsted will host Red, White & Boom on July 11 at 5 p.m. at New Egypt High School.
