BRICK – Community members will gather Sept. 10 for an evening honoring the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk one year after his death.
The memorial will take place at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8867, located at 373 Adamston Road. Doors will open at 6 p.m., followed by the program at 7 p.m.
Organizers said the event will feature remembrance, prayer, patriotic observances, music and fellowship. The gathering will focus on the values of faith, family, freedom and community.
Fernando Uribe will serve as master of ceremonies, while DJ Gabe will provide music.
Scheduled speakers include Matt Rooney, Pastor Gregory Quinlan, Michael John Donohue, Jarrett Branch and Tia-Lyn Marie. Additional community leaders from across New Jersey are also expected to participate.
Live music will be performed by Ron Brooks, DVS Shawn and Martha Molinini.
Food trucks will be available before and during the event, giving those attending an opportunity to eat and meet other community members. The evening will conclude with a candlelight vigil.
Organizers are encouraging residents to attend and share information about the memorial with others.
