JERSEY SHORE — Lottery players who bought scratch-off tickets in Ocean and Monmouth counties won a combined $60,000, according to the New Jersey Lottery’s latest weekly report.
A Jackpot Millions ticket sold in Jackson accounted for the larger payout, winning $50,000. The winning ticket was purchased at ShopRite, 260 N. County Line Road, with the prize listed for Oct. 1.
In Monmouth County, a player won $10,000 on a $5,000,000 Fortune scratch-off ticket sold in Farmingdale. Country Farm, 84 Main St., sold that ticket, with the prize listed for Sept. 28.
The two tickets were the only Ocean and Monmouth county entries in the lottery’s report of prizes worth at least $10,000 for Sept. 28 through Oct. 4.
The report, released Oct. 5, included both scratch-off and drawing prizes. It did not provide the local winners’ names or indicate where they live.
