TOMS RIVER — Burger King’s remodeled Route 37 restaurant will celebrate its reopening Oct. 17 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a giveaway offering the first 50 dine-in customers one free Whopper a month for a year.
The celebration at 803 Route 37 will run from noon to 2 p.m. Eligible customers will receive a voucher for 12 monthly Whopper sandwiches.
The restaurant’s renovation follows Burger King’s “Sizzle” design, part of a broader effort to modernize its restaurants by 2028 with more than $700 million in investments.
Exterior changes include a prominent Burger King bun logo and a “Home of the Whopper” wall. Inside, the restaurant features a “King Booth” designed for families and larger groups, along with a Whopper-themed art installation.
Customers also will find digital ordering kiosks for dine-in and takeout purchases and a dedicated pickup area for delivery and digital orders.
“We’re proud to reopen our doors in Toms River with a fresh new look that reflects where the Burger King brand is headed,” franchisee Sanjay Patel said in a statement.
The reopening festivities will include face painting, music from a DJ and opportunities to win prizes by spinning a Burger King prize wheel.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 12:45 p.m. Afterward, Patel will present $500 worth of school supplies to West Dover Elementary School through the Burger King Foundation.
Patel adds “This remodel is about more than just a new design — it’s about continuing to serve our community with the experience they deserve. We’re excited for guests to see the transformation, enjoy their favorite menu items, and create new memories with us for years to come.”
