TOMS RIVER – Authorities have confirmed no injuries resulted from a house fire that broke out Thursday afternoon.
Around 4:05 p.m., Toms River Fire Company No. 1, Toms River Fire Company No. 2, and East Dover Fire Company No. 4 were dispatched to a structure fire on River Terrace.
After confirming a working fire, it was then upgraded to a general alarm which brought additional units to the scene.
Officials said the was brought under control in about 45 minutes and all occupants and pets in the home were accounted for with no reported injuries.
At this time the fire is under investigation by the Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention and Toms River Police Department.
