LAKEWOOD – Police are investigating the circumstances behind three youths being attacked with a weapon that might have been a machete.
Just before 11 p.m. on June 3, the juveniles were in a vehicle at the corner of Ocean and New Hampshire avenues, Lakewood Police reported. The three victims and two suspects got out of their vehicles and there was a confrontation.
One of the victims had to be airlifted to a hospital due to substantial blood loss. The other two suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Police said they are all in stable condition.
