MANCHESTER – Authorities are currently investigating a fire that destroyed a Manchester Township home Monday evening.
Pictures posted by the Whiting Fire Company Station 33 shows a home on Laketree Court completely engulfed in flames.

When contacted for an update, Manchester Police Capt. James Komsa said the Manchester Township Police Department, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and the Ocean County Fire Marshall are currently investigating the fire.
A report from News 12 said that authorities were searching for remains inside the home, and have yet to determine whether anyone was inside the home at the time of the fire.
