LAKEHURST – Police said they arrested a man who got in a confrontation with customers outside a Wawa and was waving a machete around.
At around 2 p.m. on December 12, police responded to the Union Avenue store and spotted a man matching the description. A machete was found in the subject’s backpack that was sitting next to him on the ground.
Eric Jablonski, 35, of Lakehurst, was arrested without incident. He was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Disorderly Conduct for creating a physically hazardous condition.
Charges are merely accusations until proven in a court of law.
