STAFFORD — Police said a Barnegat woman was charged after allegedly stealing about $400 worth of merchandise from the Target store in Manahawkin. According to Stafford Township Police, 47-year-old Catherine A. Macovoy was arrested on October 16 around 7 p.m. after officers responded to the store on Stafford Park Boulevard. STAFFORD — Police said a Barnegat woman was charged after allegedly stealing about $400 worth of merchandise from the Target store in Manahawkin.
According to Stafford Township Police, 47-year-old Catherine A. Macovoy was arrested on October 16 around 7 p.m. after officers responded to the store on Stafford Park Boulevard.
Macovoy was charged with shoplifting and released on a criminal complaint summons pending a future appearance in Ocean County Superior Court.
Officer Michael Wade was the arresting officer, police said.
