LACEY – The body of a man reported missing was discovered in a wooded area of Lacey, police reported.
Erik Zakrzewski, 51, of Manchester, was reported missing on April 5. He was located the next day by the New Jersey State Police Aviation Unit.
Lacey police are investigating the situation. His body was transported to Community Medical Center pending a post-mortem examination.
Manchester Chief Robert Dolan acknowledges the New Jersey State Police, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office, Ocean Township Police Department, and the Lacey Township Police Department for their participation in the search of Mr. Zakrzewski.
