JERSEY SHORE – Bruce Springsteen has postponed the remaining dates of his 2023 tour due to peptic ulcer disease.
On Wednesday, the New Jersey native announced the news and plans to reschedule the dates until 2024.
For the past several weeks, Springsteen has been dealing with peptic ulcer disease and will be continuing treatment.
“Bruce Springsteen has continued to recover steadily from peptic ulcer disease over the past few weeks and will continue treatment through the rest of the year on doctor’s advice,” Springsteen’s team wrote on social media.
This news comes not long after the singer-songwriter canceled all shows in September. Before that, two shows were also canceled at the end of August.
Management stated that the new tour dates will be announced next week and will all be taking place at their originally scheduled venues. Those who can’t attend the new dates and purchased through official ticketing companies have 30 days to request a refund.
“Thanks to all my friends and fans for your good wishes, encouragement, and support. I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you all next year,” Springsteen said.
