TOMS RIVER – How far would you go for a good cause?
WRAT’s radio personality Gotts will live on top of a billboard to raise money for Ocean County children with cancer and their families. It will be at 1331 Hooper Avenue in Toms River, also known as the Lowes and Target shopping center. He will be there for 72 hours, from September 19-22.
You don’t have to visit the location to donate. You can also visit OceanOfLove.org.
All of the money raised will remain local. This is the 24th annual fundraiser for the Ocean of Love organization.
Ocean of Love’s purpose is to provide financial and emotional support to families so the children can experience the “normal” joys of childhood.
September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness month.
