TOMS RIVER – Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that took place at around 7:20 a.m. this morning on Adams Avenue.
“This is an active and ongoing investigation, and there is no known danger to the public at this time. We will release more information as it becomes available,” Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
In addition to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, the scene was also investigated by the Toms River Township Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit.

“Anyone in possession of information regarding this investigation is urged to contact the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit at 732-929-2027, or the Toms River Township Police Department at 732-349-0150,” Billhimer said.
