OCEAN COUNTY – A 13-year-old girl remains at a Jersey Shore trauma center after her father accidentally shot her while cleaning his gun, authorities said.
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said 47-year-old Edgar Baerga of Stafford Township has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor in connection with the incident that took place on Saturday, May 24.
