LACEY – First responders are currently on scene battling a major fire on Buttonwood Drive in the Lanoka Harbor section of Lacey.
The Ocean County Sheriff’s Office has asked that drivers stay away from the Buttonwood and Haines area.
At this time, authorities have not confirmed if any fatalities resulted from the blaze, or have determined the cause of the fire. A number of scanner news websites have reported “several fatalities.”
