  JACKSON – A Manalapan man, who recently became a school bus driver in Jackson Township, was arrested and charged with the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse materials, officials said.   Brian R.   JACKSON – A Manalapan man, who recently became a school bus driver in Jackson Township, was arrested and charged with the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse materials, officials said.

  Brian R. McBride, 28, was arrested and charged on October 25 with one count of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Materials and one count of third-degree Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Materials, Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Materials.

  After receiving a tip through the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, authorities discovered that McBride was in possession of child sexual abuse materials and distributing some via social media.

  McBride faces up to 10 years in state prison, along with being subject to the provisions of Megan’s Law registration and Parole Supervision for Life.

  Despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of the trial rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State law.
