WALL – Manasquan Bank is pleased to announce that Katie Meyers, Assistant Vice President, Marketing and Communications Manager is the recipient of this year’s Constantine G. Callas Progressive Educational & Work Ethic Memorial Scholarship presented by the New Jersey Bankers Association (NJBankers) in conjunction with scholarship sponsor, George Callas, Chief Revenue Officer and National Sales Director of the Invictus Group.

For the third consecutive year, the Scholarship is being sponsored by Mr. Callas in memory of his beloved father who was known for his entrepreneurial spirit and belief in making a better life through education. The scholarship was open to all employees of New Jersey financial institutions who are committed to continuing education in the field of finance and whose financial institution is a member of the New Jersey Bankers Association.

After joining Manasquan Bank in 2009 as a part-time teller and, subsequently, a full-time teller, Meyers was promoted to Customer Service Representative in 2014. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Kean University in 2015 which launched her into the inaugural role of Internal Communications and Brand Champion in 2017. Meyers was promoted in 2019 to the role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator and again in 2021, as Assistant Vice President, Marketing and Communications Manager.

Meyers is currently enrolled at Monmouth University pursuing an M.A. in Communication and actively sits on the Board of Directors for Dottie’s House and is a proud member of the NJBankers Emerging Leaders Network.

The winners were celebrated at a cocktail reception, dinner, and awards ceremony on November 3, 2022, at The Stone House at Stirling Ridge in Warren, New Jersey.
