TOMS RIVER – Tune into 107.1 The Boss on December 6 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and enjoy a holiday event with music, celebrity guests, and inspiring stories, while helping fight food insecurity.
The 7th Annual Mistletoe Rock Radiothon is a special live broadcast and auction fundraiser event benefiting JBJ Soul Kitchen, a community restaurant initiative run by the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation.
JBJ Soul Kitchen provides meals to both paying customers and guests facing food insecurity in a warm and welcoming restaurant setting. The organization has served over 196,000 meals through its unique Pay-It-Forward model. Guests pay the suggested donation for their meal and can also make a donation for a meal for those who is unable to pay.
This year’s event will feature simultaneous live broadcasts from Freehold Raceway Mall, JBJ Soul Kitchen’s Red Bank location, and JBJ Soul Kitchen’s Toms River location. Listen in to special guest donors and celebrity interviews.
Listeners who donate $100 have the opportunity to become a “Partner in Soul” and earn a limited-edition commemorative t-shirt. Randomly selected shirts will be autographed by Jon Bon Jovi.
Would be donors may also participate in the “Rock & Roll Auction” by bidding on one-of-a-kind and hard to come by auction items with all of the money raised going to JBJ Soul Foundation.
