FREEHOLDThe cause of a two-vehicle collision in Wall Township is currently under investigation, Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced on Tuesday.

On Monday, January 20, 2025, at approximately 11:01 a.m., members of the Wall Township Police Department responded to the intersection of State Route 34 and Airport Boulevard for a motor vehicle crash.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a male driver was operating a 2012 Ford F-250 travelling southbound on Route 34 when a collision with another male driver operating a 2024 Black Kia Forte occurred.  

As a result, the driver of the Forte was taken to a local hospital, where he is being treated for multiple injuries.

The driver of the F-250 remained on scene.

An investigation involving members of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART), and the Wall Township Police Department remains active and ongoing. No charges or summonses have been issued with regard to the incident at this time.
