LAKEHURST – A three-car crash closed down Route 70 earlier today in Lakehurst, officials said.
Members from Station 62, Lakehurst Volunteer Fire Department were called to Route 70 and Center Street for a crash on Route 70 westbound.
Lakehurst Volunteer Fire Department said all patients were safely removed from their vehicles and checked by EMS personnel.

As a result, Route 70 was closed for about 30 minutes.
Assisting at the scene were Station 67 Joint Base MDL, Station 76 Manchester Township Emergency Services, Berkeley Township Emergency Medical Services Squad 55, Manchester Township Emergency Medical Services Squad 54, Lakehurst Police Department and Manchester Township Police Department.
