ATLANTIC CITY – The New Jersey Lottery announced more than a dozen players who won money for turning in non-winning scratch-off tickets at their Million Dollar Replay Grand Prize Drawing.
During 2023, players submitted non-winning scratch-off tickets online, according to the NJ Lottery. Each quarter, 100 names were selected and awarded a $250 prize as well as an entry into the grand prize drawing which took place at the Golden Nugget Atlantic City Hotel, Casino and Marina.
There were 14 players who won anything from $10,000 to $100,000. Among these were three Ocean County residents. Linda Holcome won $50,000. Linda Visconte won $25,000. John Ferrara won $10,000.
The grand prize winner was Brian Heck of Gloucester County, winning $1 million, officials said.
Additionally, there were five $1,000 door prizes, five scratch-off packs worth $300 each, and five gift baskets.
“Once again, New Jersey Lottery players who were quarterfinalists in the Million Dollar Replay contest came to Atlantic City for fun, entertainment, and their chance to become a millionaire,” said James Carey, New Jersey Lottery Executive Director. “For the 13th consecutive year, we were happy to see our players enjoy the ultimate do-over with their opportunity to win $1,000,000!”
