  BRICK – After a two-month long investigation, authorities have arrested a Brick Township man in connection to selling drugs.

  The multi-agency investigation identified a home in Brick being used by 40-year-old Brandon O’Shea of Brick to store and distribute cocaine and marijuana.

  On May 9, authorities observed the home and O’Shea was seen exiting and leaving in his car. Shortly afterwards, officers pulled him over and arrested him.

  Police searched the home and seized about 100 grams of cocaine, 80 grams of methamphetamine, eight grams of heroin, more than five pounds of marijuana and THC products, and $333,000.

  O’Shea was charged with Possession of One Half Ounce or More of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of One Half Ounce or More of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Five Pounds or More of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Less than One Half Ounce of Heroin with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute within 1000 feet of a School, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute within 1000 feet of a School, Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute within 1000 feet of a School, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute within 1000 feet of a School, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Financial Facilitation.  O’Shea was transported to the Ocean County Jail and subsequently released as a consequence of New Jersey Bail Reform.

  Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer commends the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Asset Forfeiture Unit, Brick Township Police Department Street Crimes Unit, Brick Township Police Department Patrol Division, Brick Township Police Department Special Emergency Response Team, and Point Pleasant Borough Police Department Detective Bureau, for their combined and collective assistance in connection with this investigation.

  The charges referenced are merely accusations and the public are reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
