FREEHOLD – A woman was charged with paying herself more than $95,000 from a local entertainment company using fake payroll direct deposits.
Dina M. Mulleano, 49, of Brick, was charged with second-degree Theft by Deception.
She was the human resources manager of an unnamed company. From June 2021 until October 2022, Mulleano allegedly made about 70 transfers from the payroll system to her own bank account, while fraudulently crediting the pay to more than two dozen employees.
