LACEY – Lacey Police are warning residents about an uptick in recent catalytic converter thefts occurring throughout town.
According to police, there were nine separate thefts reported taking place overnight between February 25 to 26. The thefts were all from cars that were parked in the driveway or in the street in front of their residences.
All of the reported thefts took place in the northern section of the Barnegat Pines section of town, police said.
“If anyone has any information related to this, please contact our agency immediately. Additionally, we encourage our residents to check their vehicles, and report any additional thefts to our agency,” Lacey Police said.
