  LACEY – Authorities are currently investigating a series of break-ins that occurred last week on the same street and all involved shattered windows.

  On February 12 around 12:49 a.m., officers responded to a home in the 700 block of Roanoke Drive regarding a burglary. According to police, the resident heard someone yelling and then something that sounded like glass breaking. When looking out the window, they observed a tall, thin man enter a late model pickup truck, unknown make or model, then drive away.

  Police said the resident discovered the front door open, and numerous pieces of their property strewn in the street in front of the home. While checking the home, officers found a shattered window. 

  Detectives stated that about $4,000 worth of items were stolen from the home and about $2,000 worth of damages. At this time, the investigation is ongoing.

  On February 13 around 12:29 p.m., another burglary was reported. Officers found a broken window and the side on the home and several items inside stolen. This investigation is ongoing.  

  Later that day around 1 p.m., a third break-in occurred on Roanoke Drive. Police said they found an apparent forced entry while conducting a canvass of the neighborhood. Officers observed a shattered window at the rear of the home as well as an open entry door. This investigation is ongoing.
