HOWELL – A Lakewood man died as the result of a two-car crash in Howell Township early Sunday morning, officials said.
The crash occurred around 2:53 a.m. at the intersection of Route 9 and Aldrich Road. According to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, one driver, a 69-year-old Lakewood man, died in the crash.
At this time, the crash is under investigation by members of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART), and the Howell Police Department.
