LAKEWOOD – A man who was allegedly involved in over 15 burglaries throughout Ocean County has been apprehended, police said.
Christopher Green faces a total of 17 criminal charges, including 1st Degree Robbery, 2nd Degree Armed Burglary, Conspiracy, and multiple weapons-related offenses, all in connection with a series of burglaries spanning Lakewood and Toms River Townships.
The alleged burglaries occurred between March 30 and April 6, and during at least one occasion he was armed with a handgun, police said.
In addition, authorities identified homes in Toms River and Neptune, as well as several motor vehicles associated with Green. After searching the homes and vehicles, officers recovered proceeds taken from several of the burglaries as well as four firearms, including an AR-15 and a submachine gun.
Green was subsequently arrested on May 1.
