  BRICK – The Township will be holding a flood information service on Tuesday, June 27 at 6 p.m. at Traders Cove Marina Boater Facility, 40 Mantoloking Road.

  The event will provide information to residents on flooding, flood risks and prevention, flood insurance, the National Flood Insurance Program Community Rating System, and various other flooding related topics. Professionals from the municipality will be on hand to assist residents. Property owners will have the opportunity to discuss and inquire about mitigation options and explore potential improvements that can be made to lower flood insurance premiums.

  After the Flood Information service, please join us for the viewing of the award-winning Best New Jersey film at Indie Street Film Festival: DRIFT.

  DRIFT tells the story of Barnegat Bay through the voices and eyes of people who cherish the bay as a natural, recreational and economic resource for the local community, and all of New Jersey. Presented by Save Barnegat Bay and the Township of Brick Floodplain Management Planning Committee, the film will screen at 7 pm. On the 3rd floor boaters lounge.
