FREEHOLD — Freehold Raceway Mall is offering a full lineup of family-friendly attractions this summer, giving parents and children a place to stay cool, active and entertained.
The mall’s seasonal offerings include LuminoCity Dino Safari, an immersive experience featuring more than 70 dinosaurs from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Families can also visit DICK’s House of Sport, which includes a rock-climbing wall, batting cage, turf field, golf simulator, lessons, birthday parties and special events.
Other active options include Level Up Skate Park, which offers skate classes, birthday parties and open skate sessions, and Pups of War, a Nerf-style arena designed for team play. Go Playland provides an indoor playground with slides, climbing areas and interactive features.
For creative activities, children can stop at Color Me Mine to paint pottery, make slime at Slime World or build a customized stuffed animal at Build-A-Bear Workshop. The LEGO Store also offers products and hands-on opportunities for young builders.
Families looking for entertainment and treats can visit Dave & Buster’s for dining and arcade games, AMC Theatres for summer matinees and family films, Puffy Cotton Candy for fresh-spun sweets and the Heritage Amusement Carousel for a two-level indoor ride.
“There’s truly something for everyone here this summer,” said Frank Lucia, senior property manager at Freehold Raceway Mall. “Whether your kids want to climb, create, skate, or simply enjoy a sweet treat, we’ve built a season packed with ways for families to have fun together.”
Mall officials said families are encouraged to arrive early, stay late and explore the mix of activities, dining options and retailers available throughout the season.
