MILLSTONE – A crash on Route 33 involving an SUV and motorcycle claimed the life of a Howell Township man, according to New Jersey State Police.
Jose J. Cruz Jr., 47, was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision, which occurred around 7 p.m. in Millstone on June 25.
Police said Cruz was traveling west on a Honda motorcycle when a Ford SUV entered Route 33 from Conover Road while making a left turn. The bike then collided with the SUV, and Cruz was ejected.
The impact left Cruz with fatal injuries, police said. The driver of the SUV was also hurt and was transported to a hospital.
State Police said no charges had been filed at this time but the probe continues.
