  MANCHESTER – Authorities have confirmed no injuries resulted from a fire that broke out at a home in Leisure Village West Saturday afternoon.   The fire was reported around 3:35 p.m. at a home on Edinburgh Lane.   MANCHESTER – Authorities have confirmed no injuries resulted from a fire that broke out at a home in Leisure Village West Saturday afternoon.

  The fire was reported around 3:35 p.m. at a home on Edinburgh Lane. According to the Manchester Police, the blaze was caused due to the ceiling fan in the bathroom.

  At the time of the fire, the home was unoccupied and only a cleaning crew was present. Firefighters quickly arrived on scene and extinguished the flames. No injuries were reported and no residents were displaced, police said.

  Assisting at the scene were Manchester Volunteer Fire, Ridgeway Volunteer Fire, and Whiting Volunteer Fire.

  The Ocean County Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the fire’s cause and origin.
