WALL TOWNSHIP – Authorities are currently investigating a crash that left a pedestrian injured Monday morning.

  The crash occurred around 11:22 a.m. at the intersection of Route 35 and Warren Avenue. According to police, an 82-year-old man was driving a 2007 Maserati and attempted to make a left-hand turn onto State Route 35 southbound when he hit a 78-year-old man who was crossing the road in the crosswalk from the east to west side.

  The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries. The driver remained on scene, officials said.

  At this time, no charges or summonses have been issued.
