STAFFORD — Several roads in Stafford Township are scheduled to be repaved beginning May 11, as part of Ocean County’s Schedule C program.

Mayor Robert Henken and the Township Council thanked Ocean County government, along with the county’s Engineering and Road departments, for helping complete the work at a lower cost to the township.

The roads slated for paving include Albatross Avenue from Treasure to Atlantis, Wave Road from Sextant to Neptune, Bowline Road from Wave to Breakers, Dolphin Road from Wave to Breakers, Spar Road from Wave to Privateer, Crown Court and its cul-de-sac, Privateer Road from Leeward to Breakers, and Sextant Road from Breakers to Neptune.

Township officials said the paving project is expected to take two to three weeks, weather permitting.

The Schedule C program allows municipalities to partner with Ocean County to have local roads paved at reduced costs.
