NEW JERSEY — Veolia Water New Jersey said its latest annual water quality reports show the drinking water it provides to more than 1.1 million residents meets or exceeds all federal and state standards.
The company released its Consumer Confidence Reports, which give customers information about water quality testing conducted during the previous year. According to Veolia, the reports include results from more than 88,000 tests for 279 regulated and monitored substances.
The reports compare test results with federal and state drinking water standards. Veolia said the findings reflect continued investments in water treatment technology and infrastructure, including PFAS treatment systems and expanded monitoring for emerging contaminants.
“These results demonstrate our unwavering commitment to providing high quality, reliable drinking water to the 1.1 million New Jersey residents who depend on us to serve this critical need every day,” said Alan Weland, regional president of Veolia Water New Jersey. “Veolia’s GreenUp program to accelerate the deployment of affordable environmental solutions encompasses our commitment to provide environmental security for New Jersey through a stable, reliable water supply.”
Veolia provides drinking water service to customers in Bergen, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Sussex and Warren counties.
